Security: your AI assistant, hosted in Switzerland
Atlas OS is an AI assistant for companies, hosted in Switzerland. Every company gets its own instance on the EasySystems Marketplace, operated by EasySystems GmbH in Oensingen; you need no server of your own for it. Atlas works in your inbox and in your folders. The instance sits in Switzerland, the language model does not: it runs at the provider of the AI subscription that each person connects.

Access
Every workspace belongs to one person
In a company many people work with one instance. What one person files in their own area, no one else sees.
- Administration sees three thingsWhich accounts exist, that runs are happening, and what gets billed. It does not see the content of other people's runs.
- Connections per personMicrosoft 365, Google, bexio and the remaining connections are granted by each person for their own account. Mail access always belongs to one account.
- Company-wide only what you file thereShared knowledge, shared templates and company-wide credentials sit separately from the personal ones.
AI processing
Your AI subscription, your contract with the provider
Everyone signs in with their own subscription at Claude, ChatGPT (Codex) or Cursor (Bring your own Subscription); that contract is between them and the provider.
- You pay the AI subscription directly to the providerAtlas charges nothing for it; the Atlas invoice lists what you ordered from us and nothing else.
- Where the language model runsAt the provider of your subscription, so at Claude, ChatGPT (Codex) or Cursor. What they do with the data stands in your contract with them.
- The voice call “Call Atlas” goes to OpenAIFor the call you store your own OpenAI API key. The conversation runs through OpenAI, which bills by usage.
Company network
Your server: the shared folders only
Atlas reaches shared folders on your server or NAS through a small program for Windows, macOS or Linux on a machine in your network. We call it the on-prem proxy. It makes individual folders reachable, and only those.
- Outbound connection onlyThe proxy opens the connection from the inside, like a browser; no open port and no VPN are needed for it.
- Default: read onlyWrite access is granted by whoever looks after the machine.
- Local logEvery access is written to a log on the machine running the proxy.
Traceability
Every run has a history you can read back
What Atlas did and when is in the history, including when you set the task over Telegram on the road.
- What the history holdsWhich steps Atlas took, which questions it asked back, and which files came out of it.
- Code lands only at the push of a buttonAtlas never takes changes to repositories over by itself; that stays your click on “Merge”.
- Signed skillsInstalled skills do not change without your say-so.

Limits
What Atlas does not do today
As of September 2026.
- No approval before every single stepAtlas acts within the connections you grant. We recommend starting with drafts and widening permissions step by step.
- No professional reviewAtlas shows the result and the way it got there. Whether the content is right is for a person to judge.
- No installation on your own serversAtlas OS exists only as a hosted instance.

Common questions about data and access
Where does our data sit?
Your Atlas instance runs as its own container on the EasySystems Marketplace in Switzerland, separate from other customers. Whatever the language model processes goes to the provider of that person's AI subscription. With the voice call “Call Atlas” the conversation also runs through OpenAI, with the API key you store for it.
Who sees what?
Administration sees accounts, runs and billing. It does not see the content. Everything else stays in that person's private workspace, unless they deliberately file it company-wide.
What does the language model see?
Whatever a run hands it to process, for example the task, attached files, the stored knowledge, your templates and the content from the connections that person granted. The language model runs at the provider where that person holds their subscription: Claude, ChatGPT (Codex) or Cursor. What the provider may do with the data is governed by that person's subscription with them.
Is there a login via Microsoft SSO?
Not today. It is planned. Atlas keeps its own accounts with an email address and password, so that companies without Microsoft 365 can work with it too. When someone leaves the company, administration blocks or removes the account by hand; that belongs on your exit checklist.
Do we get our data out?
Yes. You can ask for your customer data back at any time, as stated in the terms and conditions of EasySystems GmbH, clause 19 lit. d.
